We live and work on our family farm called Lock Bank Farm, on the outskirts of Sedbergh with our herd of Fresian and Jersey cows who in Spring and summer graze the fields below the beautiful Howgill Fells and enjoy drinking the refreshing spring water.
Our Dairy Products have been retailed from the farm since 1897 when Matt Sedgwick founded his milk round. In those days milk was delivered twice daily by horse and trap.
The farm is now run by the 4th generation of the Sedgwick family. In 2011, we (Roger and Suzan Sedgwick) began using the farms milk to produce a range of ice-cream. We have invested in high quality Italian Technology and using the milk produced on the farm to create our delicious Handmade Artisan Dairy Ice Cream, which is of the highest standard for customers to enjoy both straight from the farm, or at home.
All of our ice creams also use the finest additional ingredients, which are sourced locally wherever possible.
