Our cows graze in the fields just below the fell. Our herd is made up of Jersey and British Friesians who are known for producing high quality milk, which is helped by the lifestyle they lead in our lush fields with fresh spring water. The milk miles travelled from milking parlour to ice cream parlour is only a matter of feet!
In addition to our delicious home produced milk, we flavour our ice creams with ingredients which are sourced locally wherever possible and are of the highest standards of quality and taste. We create flavours that are a little bit different as well as classics!
We use stainless steel Italian machinery to produce our ice-cream, selected to complement our hand-made processes. The machines are used for pasturising, mixing and freezing the ice-cream or sorbet.
We make our ice-creams in small batches so that they are always fresh! It also allows us to create a wide variety of flavours and custom flavours which we can make to order. We have an events trailer and several portable scooping cabinets for bringing our ice-creams and sorbets to you!
